We Are The Dead Men
02:25
|
|
||
We are the dead men
We walk towards the church
We are the dead men
We stroll behind the hearse
We are the dead men
Laughing at the wake
We are the dead men
Who will cut the cake?
We built the ships
For war and for peace
We built that church
In whose gardens we sleep
We are the dead men
With pillows made of stone
We are the dead men
Once flesh now only bone
We are the dead men
We sharpen up our swords
We are the dead men
It can really make you bored

Stay
04:14
|
|
||
Untouched by the sunlight Or the moonlight
I stand like a statue As the stars bring their light
Then I saw your face I looked in your eyes
With a smile to die for Even the angels sighed
But then you look away But then you look away
They say its love They say that you care
But when I look in the mirror I'm the only one there
You've turned this heart to the coldest stone
I'm a fool on his stage A tyrant on his throne
You hide away You hide away
Well, now I have found you I cut out your heart
It's next to mine And we will never part
To be together Till the end of time
As the old saying goes Your heart is mine
Let the flies serenade us Leave the doorbell to ring
Outside it's raining Inside the angels grin
Let the flies serenade us Leave the doorbell to ring
Outside it's raining Inside the angels sing
You won't go away So glad you could stay

Believe Me
04:03
|
|
||
BELIEVE ME
Fields of spears - our creation
For our crimes there'll be damnation
The blood of the past does bathe us
Dead fingers point to blame and claim us
Without love we are lost
Believe me - we are lost
Without love we are dust
Believe me - we are dust
Without love we lose our souls
Mine left long ago
With gods above and gods below
Believe me - believe me
A child is skating on thin ice
Like a child playing with a knife
With gods above and gods below
Playing chess for her soul
Chorus
With tears of sorrow tears of rage
They lower her into the grave
Gods above and gods below
Playing catch with her soul

Twa Corbies
02:38
|
|
||
As I was walking all alane
I met twa corbies making a main
And one to the other did say O
Where shall we gang and dine the day O
In behint yon auld fell dyke
I see there lies a new slain knight
And naebody knows that he lies there O
But his hawk and his hound and his lady fair O
His hawkis to the hunting gane
His hound to fetch the wild fowl hame
His lady's laying with another
So we may make our dinner sweet O
Ye'll sit on his white hause bane
And I'll pick out his bonny blue een
With a lock o' his golden hair O
We'll thatch our nest when it grows bare O
Many a one for him makes main
But none shall know where he is gane
Through his white bones when they are bare O
The wind shall blow for ever more O

An English Garden
04:10
|
|
||
In the garden by the wall
Something moved and someone called
Why is it hollow beneath the stones?
Why is Mother crying, on her own?
An english garden in the rain
Somenthing hidden, something strange
Don't go walking in the woods
Yes Father dear, you're understood
An english garden in the rain
Someone whispered my name
Victoria sits upon her throne
And when we fall, we'll fall like Rome
Why can't we in the garden play?
The servants stare then look away
Why has the hall clock suddenly stopped?
Why are the French windows always locked?
An english garden in the rain
Why was the governess sent away?
Why won't any of the servants stay?
Is that thunder overhead?
And who's that standing by my bed?

Old London Weeps
06:31
|
|
||
Cats nine tales, coffin nails
Locket for your sin
Proddie dogs, Papal plots
Bonfires start to sing
Old London weeps
Weather vanes, the king of Spain
Points to the Cornish coast
A Norfolk home, worships Mary's throne
And drinks a secret toast
A faerie king he starts to singe
A poker finds its home
Old firm rules, broken duels
Steel bonnets ride for home
Poison pens, an inn by the Thames
A drink for Dr. Dee
Friar's black which the hangman's trap
And falling masonry
City square, the bankers stare
Hush, the temple sleeps
Oh, come winter rain, wash away our shame
And listen as old london weeps

Sawney Bean
03:36
|
|
||
A family inbred like serpents entwined
Had no heart and little mind
A clan of madness, a terrible scene
They cursed the earth - the Sawney Bean
Lurking in the fog a fearsome brood
Poor traveling folk they caught and slew
No graves have the victims of these ghouls and fiends
Those taken and eaten by - the Sawney Bean
From their flesh they made a meal
Their skin the floor for their bairns to kneel
Their skulls a table from which to feed
Alas the victims of - the Sawney Bean
They lived by the sword, were felled by the axe
And I say "nothing wrong with that"
But in their hellish caves worse than any dream
Cursed with the stench of - the Sawney Bean
Some are haunted by the tolling bell
Some by the fiery pits of hell
But what haunts me is what we did see
When we entered the larder of - the Sawney Bean

Abattoirs of Love
04:34
|
|
||
We hung upon a hook, cut me to the bone
Froze me with a kiss, laid upon your throne
In the abattoirs of love
In the abattoirs of love
You're in the serpent's jaws, love chains you to the floor
Like fools you climbed so high, it's further then to fall
In the abattoirs of love
Love's a game for fools, for fools
Love's a game for fools...

The Fool
03:27
|
|
||
Down the centuries, I was at their side
With a song to glorify their genocide’s
Always knowing but never appearing too wise
Always had a rhyme to hide their lies
Here I am - just for you
Here I am - here stands the fool
I plot with pretenders and princes,
And I will shed a tear on the loser's grave
And some advice for you, if I may
It's better a knave than a slave
Here I am - just for you
Here I am - here stands the fool
To conspire and devour
That's how these empires are lost and won
I bow my head humbly to mistress and sire
And I will still be alive with the rising of the sun

Media
02:19
|
|
||
Here we go again: the same old lies again
The empty words again, the pigs can fly again
From Wall Street to your heart
Trump tower lights the dark,
Hear the bleating of the sheep
At the jokes of a media creep
And there's nothing I can say
See a world of tanks, ruled by a world of banks
Turn up you TV set, forget the chains of debt
See it all go down the drain
Switch channels, do you think it'll change?
Lapping prole food in the sun
Hail GB News- ugly and dumb
And there's nothing I can say

Lucifer Before Sunrise
03:15
|
|
||
We have come to the crossroads, without a sign
We have come to the cliff's edge, with the lemmings close behind
So let's take this chance to grab a last embrace
Before the heavens open and strike down this lost race
Lucifer before sunrise, waits in a blood red night
An angel like a bird of prey, an angry god with a knife
We, who could have had everything, we threw it all away
We, who could have been master, are now only slaves
They're ringing the bells in heaven, they're ringing the bells in hell
We're taking our last steps, without souls left to sell
So let's take this chance to grab a last embrace
Before hell opens and swallows this lost race
Lucifer before sunrise, waits in a blood red night
An angel like a bird of prey. A rising god with a knife

Angels Fall
02:59
|
|
||
There's a grey army at the door
They drag us down, are the rulers of us all
Their poison seems to seep through the walls
Through their dustbin worlds they crawl
But I thought I heard you call
We'll watch the angels as they fall
These are sad days my friend
We're here to witness the coming of the end
We shut our eyes and we try and laugh
But we know full well that it's all falling apart
But I thought I heard you call
We'll watch the angels as they fall
I thought I saw a burning light
Saw angels fall into the night
We're with God they cried
And with their God they died

Summer Ends
02:59
|
|
||
Summer ends, winter's sword descends
Death's sweet embrace, veils your face
She dreams, with a glorious scream
That will never end
She whispers in the night
Of love and ancient rites
Nature heeds her call
Wakes to rise once more
She dreams, with a glorious scream
That will never end
That will never end
Summer comes again

|

A harvest of fruits and flowers
That flys and maggots will devour
Gaze at the orb set in the sky
As cancer starts to eat you alive
The world is not your friend
My friend
Headlines of sound and fury
From a self elected judge and jury
Inflamed and oozing puss
The stench beneath the upper crust
The world is not your friend
My friend
Life is short and often cruel
What are we all to do
Believe in delusions and visions
While Treading water in Gods prison
The world is not your friend
My friend
